The Hot Giggity gig guide widget allows you to install a fully customisable, automatically updated gig guide on your venue website, helping to keep your customers up to date with your live entertainment offering.
You can choose from three different layouts:
1. Grid Layout (our recommended layout)
2. Large artist image layout
3. Text only table layout
Customising and installing the widget
1. In the main menu, go to Manage / My Venues - then click Edit on the venue card.
2. Click on the Integrations tab.
3. Click on Customise Gig Widget. This will open the customisation popup screen.
4. Select the widget type you would like to use in the drop down. We recommend the Grid Layout!
5. Adjust the settings as required (these are explained below).
6. Hit Save. This will update the embed code as per your settings.
7. Copy the ebed code.
8. This code can then be sent to your web developer and added to your website.
You can find out more about the customisation options below.
Grid Layout Options
- Make widget background transparent: enabling this makes the grid transparent so that your website content behind the gig guide is visible as shown below:
- If the transparency toggle is not selected, you will be able to set a widget background colour.
- Set your widget feature colour: This is the colour used for the date / time background on the grid, as well as the background colour on the pop-up for the artist genres and popup buttons.
- Content font colour: This sets the colour of the font of the date / time copy.
- Select the number of events to show: As it says on the tin, this sets the number of upcoming events that are shown.
When customising the grid layout, clicking on any of the dates in the preview will show you the pop-up that is shown when a user clicks on the event. The pop-up shows information about the artist including artist genres and bio, and links to 'Book A Table' and 'Buy Tickets'.
The 'Book A Table' button will only show if a Book a Table URL has been added to your venue profile. This can be added in the Menu tab when editing your venue profile.
The 'Buy Tickets' button will only be shown if a ticket URL has been added to the gig booking.

- Select the number of events to show: sets the number of upcoming gigs that are shown
