Adding Venues to Your Venue Roster

Modified on Mon, 2 Sep at 1:46 PM

To begin creating bookings in Hot Giggity, agents first need to add venues to their roster. The platform offers a streamlined process, utilising the Google Places API to make this task quick and efficient.

Navigating to the “Manage / My Venues” Section

Start by logging into your Hot Giggity account. Once you’re on the dashboard, go to the Manage / My Venue Roster section. This is where you’ll manage your venue roster.

Adding a Venue

At the top right corner of the screen, you’ll see the Add Venue button. Click on it to begin the process of adding a new venue.

In the Venue Search bar, type in the name of the venue you wish to add.

If the venue already exists in the Hot Giggity Database, you’ll need to request access to book it.

Clicking on the venue name will open a form where you can submit your request for booking access.

After submitting the request, the venue owner will be notified and can either accept or decline your request. While you wait for a response, the venue will appear in your Pending Venues list.

Adding a Venue Using Google Places

If the venue isn’t already in the Hot Giggity Database, you can add it using our Google Places integration. Simply type the venue name into the search bar and select Search using Google Places

The search results will display the venue name and address details.

Clicking on the venue name from the list will then display the Add Venue Card where you can confirm the venue’s name, address, and contact details as listed in the Google Business directory.

Inviting the Venue Manager

Once you’ve confirmed the venue’s details, you have the option to invite the venue manager to join the Hot Giggity platform. This invitation enables the venue manager to view and promote all upcoming gigs via their social media channels and website.

Finalising the Venue Setup

Next, select the days of the week you need to book the venue. Once you’ve made your selections, click Add Venue. The venue will now be displayed in your Venue Roster and will be available for you to book gigs through the booking station.
