Google Calendar Integration

In this article, you'll learn how to seamlessly connect your Google Calendar with your Hot Giggity calendar. 

This feature is particularly useful for venues that share their Google Cal with other people not on the Hot Giggity platform.

What information is synced?

1. Events in your Google Calendar will be shown in your Hot Giggity calendar as "Unavailable"
   
2. Events created in your Hot Giggity calendar will be shown in your Google calendar with full details.
   

Please note - you need to set this up via a web browser. This setup functionality is not available in the Hot Giggity mobile app.

Steps to Connect Your Google Calendar to your Hot Giggity Account

1. Sign in to your Hot Giggity account using a web browser.  https://get.hotgiggity.com/sign-in
2. Go to Manage / My Venues. This will show all of the Venues that you have access to in your account.
3. Click 'Edit' on the venue card you are wanting to link to your Google Calendar.
4. Go the the 'Integrations' tab.
5. Scroll down to the 'Connect to Google Calendar' section
6. Click 'Sign in with Google'
7. Sign into your Google account
8. If prompted, you must select both of the permissions shown in the Google authorisation pop-up.
9. Click 'Allow'
10. Select the calendar you are wanting to connect using the drop-down.
11. Click "Link this Calendar"
12. A confirmation pop-up will be shown. Click confirm.
    
13. It can take a few minutes for the integration to complete.

Steps to Disconnect Your Google Calendar 

1. Sign in to your Hot Giggity account using a web browser.  https://get.hotgiggity.com/sign-in
2. Go to Manage / My Venues 
3. Click 'Edit' on the venue card you are wanting to link to your Google Calendar
   
4. Go to the 'Integrations' tab
5. Scroll down to the 'Connect to Google Calendar' section
6. Click Unlink this Calendar
7. A confirmation pop-up will be shown
8. Click 'Confirm'
9. Hot Giggity events will be deleted from your Google Calendar and your Google Calendar events will be deleted from your Hot Giggity Calendar.
