Google Calendar Integration - Artists & Entertainers

In this article, you'll learn how to seamlessly connect your Google Calendar with your Hot Giggity calendar. 

By doing so, you can save time as your Hot Giggity calendar will automatically reflect your current availabilities from Google Calendar. 

Why connect your Google Calendar?

This feature allows hirers such as venues and agents, to see your availability without having to check with you directly! It will mean that you will also get event reminders from your Google Calendar 2 hours before your gig! 

What information is synced?

1. To protect your privacy, events in your Google Calendar will be shown in your Hot Giggity calendar simply as "Unavailable"
   
2. Events created in your Hot Giggity calendar will be shown in your Google calendar with full details.
   

Please note - you need to set this up via a web browser. This setup functionality is not available in the Hot Giggity mobile app. 

Steps to Connect Your Google Calendar to your Hot Giggity Account

1. Sign in to your Hot Giggity account using a web browser.  https://get.hotgiggity.com/sign-in
2. Go to Manage / My Profile 
3. Select the 'Integrations Tab"
4. Scroll down to the 'Connect to Google Calendar' section
5. Click 'Sign in with Google'
6. Sign into your Google account
7. If prompted, you must select both of the permissions shown in the Google authorisation pop-up.
8. Click 'Allow'
9. Select the calendar you are wanting to connect using the drop-down.
10. Click "Link this Calendar"
11. A confirmation pop-up will be shown. Click confirm.
    
12. It can take a few minutes for the integration to complete.

Steps to Disconnect Your Google Calendar 

1. Sign in to your Hot Giggity account using a web browser.  https://get.hotgiggity.com/sign-in
2. Go to Manage / My Profile 
3. Select the 'Integrations Tab"
4. Scroll down to the 'Connect to Google Calendar' section
5. Click Unlink this Calendar
6. A confirmation pop-up will be shown
7. Click 'Confirm'
8. Hot Giggity events will be deleted from your Google Calendar and your Google Calendar events will be deleted from your Hot Giggity Calendar.
