What's the difference between your personal profile and act profile?

Hot Giggity provides entertainers with a platform that offers time-saving tools, enabling everyone to have a presence on the platform. Whether you're an instrumentalist performing in other people's bands or a freelance entertainer, you can benefit from the platform's features.

When creating your profile on Hot Giggity, it's important to understand the difference between your Personal Profile and your Act Profile.

We have set up Hot Giggity in a similar way to Facebook.

Your Hot Gigigty Personal Profile is like your personal Facebook profile.

Your Hot Giggity Act Profile is similar to your Facebook page for your act.

Your Personal (Artist/Entertainer) Profile.

Your Entertainer Profile is focused on you as an individual performer or freelancer.  As a performer, you can be invited to be a member of another person's act on the platform.

If you're an entertainer who performs with other bands or groups and doesn't require direct bookings from agents, venues, or private hirers, you can simply set up your Entertainer / Artist Profile.

Your Act Profile

Think of your Act Profile as your band or act's Facebook page - be that solo, duo, full band etc.  The act is the entity that gets booked by hirers. You can have as many act profiles on the platform as you like.

As the act owner, you can invite your players to your act, allowing you to invite them to gigs and receive automated invoices from them for booked gigs.

If you are an artist who is directly booked by agents, venues, or private hirers, you must set up both a Personal Profile and an Act Profile
