Promoting your gigs consistently is a great way to support the venues that book you! Connecting your Hot Giggity profile to Instagram and Facebook not only enhances your social media presence but also streamlines your promotional efforts. This guide will walk you through the steps to connect both your personal and act profiles.
Important Notes
Publishing directly to Instagram requires an Instagram Business or Creator Account. Your Instagram account must be connected to a Facebook Page, and you need to be an administrator of that page.
Connecting Your Personal Profile to Instagram
- Log in to Hot Giggity on your laptop/desktop.
- Log in to your Facebook/Instagram account in another browser tab.
- In Hot Giggity, navigate to Manage > My Profile > Integrations.
- Click Connect to Instagram.
- This will open the Facebook Login pop-up. Ensure you are logged into the correct account.
- Select your Facebook Business account and select the Facebook pages and Instagram accounts you want to connect.
- Click Got it.
- You will then be taken back to the Hot Giggity platform. Choose the relevant Facebook Page your Instagram account is connected to from the list.
- The Instagram button will update to show the connected Instagram account.
- Allow Hot Giggity to access your Facebook Business account and select the Facebook pages and Instagram accounts you want to connect.
- The Instagram button will update to show the connected account.
Connecting Your Personal Profile to Facebook
- Log in to Hot Giggity on your laptop/desktop.
- Log in to your Facebook account in another browser tab.
- In Hot Giggity, navigate to Manage > My Profile > Integrations.
- Click Connect to Facebook.
- This will open the Facebook Login pop-up. Ensure you are logged into the correct account.
- Select the Facebook page(s) you want to connect.
- Click Got it.
- You will then be taken back to the Hot Giggity platform. Choose the relevant Facebook Page from the list.
- The Facebook button will update to show the connected Facebook page.
Connecting Your Act Profile
If you manage multiple acts, Hot Giggity allows you to connect each act to their respective Facebook and Instagram accounts. Here's how:
- Navigate to Manage > My Acts.
- Click Edit on the act you want to integrate with Instagram and Facebook.
- Navigate to Integrations.
- Repeat the steps described above for connecting Instagram and Facebook.
Scheduling Posts to Instagram and Facebook After Accepting A Booking
For soloists and DJs:
- After accepting a booking, you will now automatically be taken to the Promote tab within the booking sheet.
For acts with multiple members:
2. After accepting the booking, you will then be prompted to Invite your players after which you will be given the option to navigate to the Promote tab.
Scheduling Social Posts
1. Go to Promote / Social Posts to view upcoming gigs filtered by the month filter top right.
2. Select a gig and click Schedule
3. Choose a date, time, and profile settings for the post.
4. Edit the post content, add emojis, and select an image from your Act Gallery or device.
5. Preview the post for Instagram or Facebook.
6. Click Schedule to schedule the post or use the drop-down to select Publish Now to publish immediately.
7. Monitor the post status in the Summary page and edit if needed before publishing.
Editing a Post
- Navigate to Promote > Social Posts and select the month of the gig.
- Click Scheduled-Edit to open the post for editing.
- Make the necessary edits and click Update Post.
Cancelling a Post
- Navigate to Promote > Social Posts to view upcoming gigs filtered by the month filter top right.
- Click Scheduled-Edit to open the post for editing.
- Use the drop down to select Cancel Post. Click Cancel Post.
Please note: Once a post is published, it cannot be edited through Hot Giggity. You will need to edit published posts directly in your social account.
