Aplpy To Play - Venues & Agents

Hot Giggity is all about providing artists and entertainers with more opportunities to secure paying gigs.

To facilitate this, we have provided functionality allowing artists to search for, and 'Apply to Play' with Venues and Agents who are accepting applications from artists.

Simply follow the steps below. 

1. Click on Connect (search) in the main navigation.

2. Select the required Profile Type (Venue / Agent) in the Profile Type dropdown.

3.  Use the Search Address to enter the region you would like to search. You can then also add a search radius to widen the search.

4. Set the 'Apply to Play' toggle to On and click 'Search'.   This will display the venues who are accepting applications from Artists.

5. Click Apply To Play on the venue / agent profile you want to connect with.  This will open a pop-up where you can then select the act or acts you would like to submit for review.  You can also opt to send a message with your application and then hit 'Apply'.

6. If you applied to a Venue, in the main menu navigate to Manage / My Venues.  The venues you have just applied for will be at the top of your venue list with the status 'Pending'.  If you applied to an Agency, you can navigate to the Manage / My Agents to see the status of your application.  You will receive a notification from the venue or agent once they have reviewed your profile, letting you know that they have either accepted or declined your application.
