Handling Cancellations & Rebooking an Act

Managing last-minute cancellations efficiently is crucial for keeping events on track. Hot Giggity’s cancellation workflow helps you quickly find a replacement act when an artist cancels a booking.


Step 1: Receive Cancellation Notification

When an artist cancels a booking, you will receive both an email notification and an in-app notification.

Step 2: Access the Booking Sheet

Clicking on the notification will take you directly to the Booking Sheet, where you can:

  • View the cancellation reason provided by the artist.

  • Click the Select Another Act button to start the rebooking process.


Step 3: Choose a Replacement Act

Clicking Select Another Act will open a pop-up displaying all available artists on your Act Roster who match the date and time of the cancelled booking.

  • You can select individual artists or select all available acts.

  • Once selected, click Send Request to notify the chosen artists.


Step 4: Automatic Confirmation

The first artist to claim the gig will be confirmed automatically, ensuring a quick replacement without manual follow-ups.
